**Marlin Model 39 Original Production Takedown with Tang Sight
.22 S/L/LR. 24" octagonal barrel. SN: S10752. Blued and color casehardened finish, smooth pistol-gripped stock with hard rubber Marlin buttplate and smooth forend. Lever action, tubular magazine fed, angle eject rifle with adjustable tang mounted peep rear sight, barrel mounted semi-buckhorn elevation adjustable rear sight and dovetailed blade front sight. Two-line Marlin Firearms Corporation address on barrel. {C&R}

Condition
Very good. Fine bright bore with crisp rifling. Barrel with most of the blue intact, showing some thinning and high edge wear. Magazine tube with slightly more wear. Receiver with a brownish mottled appearance that suggests traces of case color and possibly some chemical toning. Mechanically functional action. Stock lightly sanded with some scattered handling marks and minor surface mars.
